Nobody likes needles. Kids with Type 1 meet them for shots, pump sites, CGM inserts, and finger sticks – sometimes several times a day. The goal is not to pretend it never hurts. The goal is a toolkit so one hard moment does not become a daily battle.

Not medical advice. Every kid and care plan is different. Check with your diabetes care team before changing how you manage T1D, and always follow their sick-day, dosing, and device instructions.
